Pure as Gold
I love you so, dear precious one
With all my heart and soul
And if you don't believe me that
This love is pure as gold...
I'll melt it down, and weave it all
Into a net so fine
To catch two snow white turtle doves
As True as my heart is to thine
But if you yet believe me not
And proof my love still needs
I'll make the sand rush towards sea
With the strength that my soul longs for thee.
And if there still remains some doubt
That my love springs eternaly new
I'll bring you to this mountain stream,
Where a million wildflowers bloom
Awakened from long winter's sleep
One by one, with each prayer for you.
And if all this still doesn't prove
That you're my precious one,
To the angels I'll fly, on wings made of sighs
And bring back a heavenly song.
That I'll sing as i rock you so gently to sleep
By the sea amongst flowers and doves.
About wishes and prayers and angels with wings...
About wanting and longing and love.

Queen for a Day
If I were queen of the land
for a day
I'd make all new rules
about how things shall be
Like everyone has to
Wear purple and green
And no one can eat
Less than ten jellybeans
If I were the queen of the land for a day
I'd make up a rule about
What you can say
Everything has to begin with
"I love you"
And then you can say
Just how much, and how true...
And every exchange
Has to start with a hug
( If you break any rules
Then you have to kiss bugs)
Chocolate will be
The new food group on top
Of strawberry ice cream
(Which is over cream pops)
And last on the list
Which no kid shall eat
Is asparagus quiche
With stinky Swiss cheeses
And everything salty
Like supersnacks and pocorn
Is good for your teeth
And makes you grow strong
Snickerdoodles
Fluffy poodles
Sniffable markers
And apple strudles
Swimming pools with giant slides
Cartwheel fields and horseback rides
Story books with villains and knights
Sunshine days with azure skies
These are the things
That I shall decree
To be
The primary activity
When I'm finaly queen
And when i am queen
(And i surely shall be)
Then I'll give you warm fuzzies
If you voted for me!
And I'll have all my servants
Plant a thousand small daisies
On the path to your house
(Though you might think it's crazy)
And outside your door
I'd write out in lilly's
I love you forever
(Please dont think I'm silly!)
And when I am queen
Then I'll make you be king
Cuz with you by my side
Its like peaches and cream!
And all through the day
We'll laugh and we'll play
While we write silly poems
About Queens and their Kings
With Zillions of lillies
And green jellybeans.

Just Cant Unlove You
Just can't unlove you!
On days like this I miss you so
I don't know what to do!!
I try so hard to clear my head
But can't stop loving you.
I wish that I could turn back time
And start my life anew
So much would be so different
Just knowing there's a "you."
You are my very special friend
Believe me, it is true
I wish that you could understand
How deeply I love you.
You're everything I need and want
Know why the sky's so blue?
It shows how sad I feel inside
When I can't be with you.
I know you might not love me now
I know you blame me too,
But I can't help it, I admit!
I just can't un-love you.
So shoot me once and shoot me twice
No matter what you do,
You'll never change the simple fact:
I just can't unlove you!
On days like this I miss you so
I don't know what to do!!
I try so hard to clear my head
But can't stop loving you.
I wish that I could turn back time
And start my life anew

Bananna Fudge
When you find me in a pile
Of broken glasss and paper trash,
And old brown leaves
from last year's trees,
You'll know just what to do;
Scoop me up
And throw me down
Into the compost heap that's round
The back behind the old wood fence,
It doesn't make much difference,
What gets piled in top of what,
Garbage a little, garbage a lot...
What matters is you did your job,
And now I'm in a great big blob,
Of decaying crud that smells like mud,
And looks like old bananna fudge.
Don't pay much mind,
Nor spend your time
Thinking on what happens,
Over the course of time
To trash that sits all in a pile
Of your backyard, after a while;
The compounds all disintigrate,
The bonds that tie them liberate,
And that energy gets released,
Creating sources of new heat
Which accelerates the changing rate
At which matter dissipates.
And let's you know with one small whiff
That things are changing, it's as If
The compost pile has come to life,
Transforming before your very eyes
Into a life form ( yes, it stinks,)
But so much potential energy
Can be turned into a tree,
Or a botanic garden, green
With flowers that you've rarely seen.
So go ahead and toss me
Into your backyard heap,
Don't worry about what happens to me,
Nor lose your beauty sleep.
But don't be surprised
When you go outside,
And spring has arrived
And I've moved on.
And you're lovely pile of mud is gone,
Likewise your trash heap too,
The trash that's been there for so long
Just vanished into the blue.
And suddenly you look next door,
And gasp! Oh, what a shock,
Someones found me, all alone
And taken me from out back.
And now I'm a lovely daisy bed
All dotted with purple and white,
With a gorgeous beautiful potted plant
Bathing in sun's golden light.
And all my beauty, strength and grace
Those gifts you could not see,
Have blossomed and transformed into
This garden I call " me."
Of broken glasss and paper trash,
And old brown leaves

The small that holds a bunch
What is this unspeakable
Unstoppable unending well of tears?
Wherefrom does it come
And how did it begin?
Who can know the depth of sorrow
That Can be contained
In one small pint sized little girl
How is it explained?
That She can look to others
Like an ordinary girl
But in her heart she carries
An entire huge big world.
A world that's filled with magic,
And Hopes and prayers and dreams,
Wonders she's created
That no man's ever seen.
And how can it be possible
For someone small like her
To hold inside an ocean full
Of heartbreak, loss and tears.
Or to store a mountain's worth
Of giggles, laughs and more
You'll chuckle till you hold your sides
And both your cheeks are sore!
And you beg her "please! Have mercy!
Don't do THAT anymore!!
If You make me laugh like this again
I'll roll right out the door!"
And who can calculate the rate
At which her love increases
Shell love you some and then alot
And then she'll love u to pieces!
Her love starts out at twenty
Then it jumps to ninety nine
And 'for you know what's happening
It's doubled fifty times!
Untill it fills a planet's worth
Of love-mass, so condensed
That were it to increase a bit...
It would collapse upon itself
And nothing could escape that love
Just like a big black hole
And everything you do, or say,
Just makes her love you more!
And how can one small tiny girl
Imagine so much grace
That all colors in all the world
Aren't enough to paint
The beauty and the magic
All the tiny little curves
That fill her with such wonder
She can hardly speak a word
And every sunset, every time,
Still takes her breath away
And one small kiss can warm her for
A thousand wintery days.
It's impossible to figure out
Just where her faith is stored;
No matter how her troubles grow,
Her faith grows even more.
Don't even try to quantify
The force that holds her dreams
when life say " Just give up. You can't!"
She balls her fists and screams:
"I can, I can, just look at me,
I'm stronger than you know, you'll see
That while I'm not that big, in size
I'm really ten feet tall inside!"
And at night, sometimes she can't imagine
How she'll face tomorrow,
When she's nearly reached the breaking point
Of heartbreak, grief and sorrow.
Or how she'll face another day,
When she can barely stand,
Or try ,once more, to try again,
Building castles in the sand.
But slowly, surely, every time
The sun climbs in the sky
She finds her strength renewed again,
And hope and faith, likewise.
As I said in the begining
Don't try to understandt
How something small can hold so much
It never will make sense.
But if you still are puzzled,
And need to understand
Just ask your heart what does it feel
When you take her hand?
A universe that has no words
A thousand shooting stars
A meadowful of sunshine
And a warmth that fills your heart.
You touch upon the meaning
Of the reason you exist
And once again you start believing
In your secret wish.
And you find again, the certainty
That life is more than what you see;
That you can climb mount everest
And pass the hardest dreaded test
You can conquer the monster of Lock Ness;
Dive down to the deep sea floor
And Recover a hidden
treasure chest,
Then soar up to a mountain cleft
To rescue a baby eagle
That's fallen from it's nest
You can Ride a rainbow accross the sky
To the land of butterflys
And wake up in the morning,
feeling blessed to be alive
When you're with her, you remember
Who you are inside,
A wonderous, miraculous being
With treasures that sparkle and shine.
'Cause she's a magical being
From a faraway magical world.
And now you know the secret
Of this strange unusual girl.
Unstoppable unending well of tears?

Cherry Berry Boom
When I die please bury me
Beneath a flowering cherry tree
And I shall blossom with the spring
And scatter my loveliness, free.
When I die, weep not for me
For I shall fine'ly be free
My spirit soaring through the sky
Over mountains and 'cross blue seas.
And when it's time to say good bye,
Please know I loved you so,
And keep me in your heart so warm
Where my spirit can live and grow.
And in the springtime, every year,
When white gives way to green
You'll sit beneath that cherry tree
As I shower you with pink.
You'll close your eyes and run your hands
along the petal covered deep,
And in that soft, pink fragerant bed
You'll lay your head to sleep.
And in your dreams you'll hear my laughter
Ringing through the world
And you shall remember, then,
This sad, dear, joyful girl.
I loved you so, please don't forget
Despite the ice and rain,
And though I may be cold and grey
Each spring I'll bloom again.
Beneath a flowering cherry tree
And I shall blossom with the spring
And scatter my loveliness, free.
When I die, weep not for me
For I shall fine'ly be free
My spirit soaring through the sky
Over mountains and 'cross blue seas.
